InterContinental Aqaba Resort held a press conference to announce being a proud winner in the prestigious World Luxury Hotel Awards for 2015. The press conference was headed by Mr. Mazen Abu Sakha, General Manager of InterContinental Aqaba Resort. During the press conference that was attended by our distinguished guest Dr. Saad Al Khushman the General Manager of the National Company for Tourism Development and many media representatives in Jordan, Mr. Mazen said: “This is a solid proof of the excellent quality and service we deliver all over the resort, and in every aspect and detail related to the guest experience. We are proud of this great achievement, which is a testament of the relentless efforts, and continuous dedication of InterContinental Aqaba Resort’s devoted team. And such awards motivate us to work even harder, and aim at providing better service for our guests.”


Mr. Mazen took the opportunity to give the award to Dr. Saad Al Khushman in recognition for his continuous support of the resort. Mr. Mazen emphasized that this award expresses what distinguishes Jordan and especially Aqaba from beaches and resorts that compete with the Middle Eastern.


The press conference was followed by a lavish dinner at the well-known Lebanese restaurant Burj Al Hamam for the attendees.


This is the first award for InterContinental Aqaba Resort from the World Luxury Hotel Awards, in which many luxurious and well-known five star hotels around the world compete for service excellence and outstanding hospitality standards.
